Cheese Board/Slicer

from $40.00

These unique, handmade, hardwood cheese boards are made from a mixture of Walnut, Hickory, and/or Cherry woods. They measure roughly 9 3/4" x 5 1/2" x 3/4" (a couple are 1/2" thick). The hardware is a metal, black Prodyne kit with a black adjustable handle for wire tension. There is a thin strip cut in the board which allows for cutting cleanly through a cheese block. The boards are all finished with a mineral oil bath, followed up with a polishing by a home-made beeswax/mineral oil wood conditioner for a nice smooth, food safe surface. Have you ever tried slicing blocked cheese with a knife? These slicers cut right through, in nice even slices like a hot knife through butter. These slicers would be a great addition to your kitchen, especially if you like serving on charcuterie boards and they can even be left out on the counter as kitchen decor.
